Create a New Project

Head over to Your Projects and hit Create New Project. You can also visit http://dream.new to automatically make one.

Remix

On the new project screen, you’ll see our remix model pop up. Here, you can pick from existing renders to start from. Or, you can start from scratch with a blank scene. Let’s pick the “Car Concept Art” render.

Render

Once you’ve created your project, you’ll see the scene editor. Here you can can tweak the scene by adding new models and adjusting the camera. The current camera perspective is the one you’ll see in the render. Adjust the camera in the scene to find an angle that you like and hit “Render” in the sidebar. That’s it— you’ll see your renders pop up in the top left.

Tweak and Render Again

The forest looks good, but let’s see what the car looks like in another kind of environment. To do that, we just need to edit the prompt. The prompt tells our rendering models how to fill in the scene. You can control background elements, environments, lighting and more just through description. You can edit the prompt in the right sidebar, right above the Render button. Let’s go from a forest scene to a city shot— we’ll tweak the prompt accordingly:
a car driving through new york city, manhattan, skyscrapers, cinematic, beautiful, dark, realistic, detailed, crisp, dark, moody, urban
Hit render again, and here’s the result: It’s that easy to go from from forest to city— you just need describe what you want, and our renderer will take care of the rest.

Next Steps

Congrats! You’ve made your first render. Now let’s add detail to the scene by adding objects from the Asset Library
